The aPot is a modern version of the medieval “poor-pot”. Atelier Willem Noyons has developed and designed the aPot for the Bartholomeus Gasthuis (Hospital) in Utrecht.

Press the button and a movie will explain how it works. For several activities one can buy a ticket at the aPot and pay with a debit card. You can also make a donation through the aPot and thus help make the lives of the residents more comfortable. You can either use a debit card or deposit cash in the collection box on the wall. The aPot then gives you a receipt of your donation.
