The Hogeschool van Amsterdam annually honors their best teacher. He or she receives a crystal sculpture. Teachers and lecturers are key figures in the university. The starting point for the design was water, a binding element in Amsterdam. The trophy is made of mouth-blown glass and was hand-cut.
